National Geographic Project
This National Geographic Society-funded project seeks to bridge secondary and post-secondary geography curricula by equipping high school teachers with the content and technological tools to aid in the development of place-based learning and to cultivate place-based geographic awareness among Houston-area high schools.

GET TX Project
The Geoscience Education and Training in Texas (GET TX) program at SHSU connected students, faculty, and the community through hands-on learning in environmental and geosciences. It offered STEM initiatives, workshops, open houses, and summer programs designed to prepare the next generation of geoscience leaders.
