Housed within the Department of Biological Sciences, the Microscopy Core Facility (MCF) serves students, faculty, and external users with a variety of instruments which are common to many scientific disciplines.

Interdisciplinary work is fundamental within the world of microscopy. The global need for skilled professionals makes the MCF ideal for students gaining research competency during their time at Sam, and aids them in learning transferrable skills to take into the job market.
