CAEP Accreditation
Annual Reports to CAEP
The College of Education has maintained accreditation with NCATE since 1954, and seeks to maintain this longstanding tradition as NCATE has transitioned to the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). The College of Education has chosen to maintain national accreditation because accreditation provides assurance that the college maintains quality in educator preparation curriculum and field experiences. CAEP accreditation is a seal of approval that our program prepare new educators to know their subjects, to serve their students, and to be prepared to enter schools ready to work with a diverse group of learners.
