Hosted annually by the Smith-Hutson Endowed Chair of Banking. Banking Day features an Industry Career Fair for SHSU’s outstanding Banking and Financial Institutions, Finance, Accounting and Business majors to learn more about internship and full time opportunities at your bank, financial institution, CPA firm, or regulatory agency.
2026 Banking Day - Industry Career Fair

Time: 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Location: SHSU Huntsville Campus - Lowman Student Center, Orange Ballroom
Attend Banking Day
Attendees may register at one of two levels. Sponsors receive all standard registrant benefits plus two reserved seats at the Bearkat Seated Luncheon, held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., where they will have the opportunity to connect directly with students and Smith-Hutson Endowed Chair of Banking Advisory Board members in attendance. Registrants receive standard career fair access for the duration of the event.
