Our banking industry is comprised of leaders that make an everlasting contribution to their profession as well as their communities. With their spirit and drive we have a long and varied history of banking professionals making a difference in the lives of others. In recognition of this spirit, we are offering a perpetual fund to support the most tenured banking program in our state – the Smith-Hutson Endowed Chair of Banking.
To support the Texas Bankers Legacy Enrichment Fund, onetime gifts or sustaining gifts can be made monthly by check, direct deposit, or donations through the online portal. Donations can be made in honor, memory, or general donation to the fund.

In recognition of donations made collectively in the amount of $2,000 or above, the Texas Bankers Legacy Enrichment Wall Display will reflect name plates for both donor and honoree. This display hangs proudly in the Smith-Hutson Endowed Chair of Banking office in the College of Business Administration at Sam Houston State University.
