SHSU Recognized For Six Top Degree Programs

Sam Houston State University was recognized by Intelligent.com for having six top degree programs among those distinguished in the site’s 2024 rankings.
Intelligent.com is a resource for program rankings and higher education planning that focuses on evaluating online and hybrid programs. The site uses an exclusive methodology to rank each institution on a scale from 0 to 100 across six categories. Evaluations are based on quantitative measures such as academic quality, graduation rate, cost, return on investment and student resources. With top picks that are highly regarded, affordable and offer the tools and resources students need to successfully graduate and excel in their fields, prospective students can choose the school that is best suited to their needs.
SHSU received numerous noteworthy rankings across all areas of study. The university placed sixth in the best online colleges in Texas and 21 in the best colleges in Texas category. On top of numerous recognitions for program excellence, SHSU’s online programs also received top marks for affordability, highlighting the university’s offerings of quality education at an affordable cost with flexible learning options.
