Free Event Offers Prospective Students Glimpse Of Campus Life

Prospective and accepted students can get a glimpse into what Sam Houston State University has to offer at Saturday@Sam, scheduled for March 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is currently open for the free event designed to help students and their families make an informed college decision.
Guests will have the opportunity to register for two academic showcases giving participants the chance to dive deeper into academic majors and what they may want to pursue. They can also learn about admissions, financial aid and student involvement.
“Saturday@SAM is the only day of the semester that allows guests to experience all the SHSU campus has to offer through one visit. They will be able to see residence halls that are normally unavailable throughout the year, eat at a dining hall and connect with the staff and students who run organizations and student services across campus,” said Natalie Foreman, associate director of SHSU Visitor Services.
Event attendees are encouraged to invite their friends and bring guests or anyone who is interested.
