roseanneThe warm and caring environment Rosanne Keathley (’77) felt when she first stepped onto campus as a student has carried through in her commitment to SHSU today.

Serving as associate chair of the Department of Population Health, she feels the university’s motto has played an important role in her professional and personal life.

Rosanne proudly gives to SHSU through the Faculty and Staff Annual Giving Campaign. As she sees it, giving is a way to show her appreciation for the years of support the university provided to her.

“I like to give to scholarships that will help our students complete their degree, and to programs like the SHSU Food Pantry which offer food, vouchers, cooking equipment, and educational programs for students facing food insecurity issues,” she said.

During our current health crisis, she wants others to realize how critical the need is for fellow Bearkats.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has created new hardships and lifestyle changes that have affected our students and their families. Giving in any amount can help improve the quality of life for our students and their households.”
