SHSU Presidential Search Forums Announced

The search for the next president of Sam Houston State University has begun.

As part of the presidential search process, campus community members are invited to a series of forums scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2020.

During the forums, John Hayek, Vice Chancellor for Academic and Health Affairs for the Texas State University System, will provide an overview of the search process, answer questions, and solicit input related to the attributes/qualifications desired in the next president of SHSU, as well as opportunities and challenges that the next president will face.

For those unable to attend, an online survey will be available on the SHSU Presidential Search website to provide another opportunity for input.
