Enrollment Management Wins American Marketing Association Awards

Sam Houston State University's Enrollment Management Division is proud to announce that the Enrollment Marketing and Communication team won two awards from the Houston American Marketing Association. In May, the Enrollment Marketing and Communication team attended the AMA Crystal Award Banquet where they brought home two Crystal Awards for the 2018-2019 Graduate and Undergraduate Recruiting Brochures. The team created unique, professional, and eye-catching brochures that made an impact in the university’s recruiting efforts. This is the department’s third consecutive year to win.
AMA Houston is the area’s premier professional marketing organization and is comprised of marketing groups across the greater Houston area. Marketing professionals compete in 87 categories and are judged based on objectives, strategies, tactics, message alignment, and results. The American Marketing Association is one of the largest professional associations for marketers and has more than 38,000 members worldwide in every area of marketing. International Competition for Marketing and Communication Professionals – MarCom Awards
The Enrollment Marketing and Communication team also recently won four MarCom Awards: one Platinum MarCom Award and three Gold MarCom Awards. Award-winning submissions included the 2018-2019 Undergraduate recruiting brochure, promotional marketing pieces, recruiting portrait, and recruiting display.
The MarCom Awards honor excellence in marketing and communication, while recognizing the creativity, hard work, and generosity of industry professionals. MarCom is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of serval thousand marketing professionals.
