Sam Houston State University’s Department of Dance presents their biannual Dance Spectrum concert, April 26-28 at 8:00 p.m., in the James and Nancy Gaertner Performing Arts Center, Dance Theatre.

Dance Spectrum provides dance majors with an opportunity to hone their craft by working with guest artists and dance faculty on challenging repertory in an atmosphere that is professional in nature.

This event, as well as several others throughout the semester, prepares dance students for their future careers as dance performance artists and serves as a bridge for students to the professional world.

This year's Spring Spectrum Concert will feature new work by Dallas choreographer and guest artist Joshua L. Peugh, graduate student Jared Doster's work "Umbilic" that was recently selected to represent SHSU in the National Dance Festival in Washington, D.C. and new works by SHSU faculty David Deveau, Joshua Manculich, Dana Nicolay, Jennifer Pontius and Dionne Sparkman Noble.

Pricing for the event is $15 for General Admission, $12 for Seniors and $5 for Students.
