Degree Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in agricultural business at Sam Houston State University provides the opportunity for students to develop an understanding of agriculture with
marketing, and service. The program includes courses in agribusiness management, policy, marketing, finance, business organizations, and other areas related to business and management. Students pair the agribusiness major with a minor to meet their educational and career goals.

Students are encouraged to actively participate in professional extracurricular activities. Some of those sponsored by the department include Agricultural Business Club, Delta Tau Alpha, National Agriculture Marketing Association, and Rodeo Club.
