The Innovation Department supports the institution to think differently and bring about positive, needed change within the university.

Innovation Values

​​The Innovation Department fosters collaboration towards the generation of ideas that spawn ever-expanding positive effects on all that we do, touching processes, procedures, programs, and our communities in ways that can surpass even the best planning and lead to transformational experiences.​ 

About Us

​​The Innovation Department encourages the institution to think differently and bring about positive, needed change within the university. We do this by focusing on four major areas:​

  • ​​Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration​

    The innovation team will facilitate cross-divisional meetings to foster collaboration and impactful solutions. 

  • ​​Provide Incubation​

    Once ideas are identified, the team will provide support, resources, funding, connections, and help with business plans. 

  • ​​Evaluation and Impact of Assessment​

    The innovation team assesses impact, tracks progress, measures outcomes, and evaluates program effectiveness. 

  • ​​Idea Generation and Identification​

    The team can organize structured brainstorming sessions, innovation challenges, and idea competitions to solicit creative proposals.
