    First-Generation College Celebration Week (centered around First-Gen College Celebration Day on Nov. 8th) at SHSU honors Bearkat trailblazers through events, resources, and community connections that celebrate resilience, achievement, and student success.

    FGC workshops team up with campus partners to cover finances, mental health, nutrition, and academics, and to offer scholarships.

  • Community Conversations

    Community Conversations offer light refreshments and a casual space for students to connect with peers, faculty, and staff.

  • Monday Funday

    Monday Fundays offer small, relaxing events where students can unwind, connect with peers, and build community while taking a break from the week’s demands.
