SHSU Graduate Programs Receive Favorable Rankings from US News & World Report
Three of Sam Houston State University’s graduate-level programs have received favorable rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s annual analysis of graduate programs across the nation. The rankings are as follows:
- Best Management Master’s Programs - No. 175
- Best Education Schools - No. 158
- Best Medical Schools: Research -Tier 4
The rankings reflect the university’s continued commitment to excellence in graduate education and are an extension of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Schools rankings that are released annually.
SHSU’s placement in the Best Management Master’s Programs and Best Education Schools categories come through the College of Business Administration and the College of Education’s high placements in the organization’s Best Online Program rankings from early this year.
SHSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (SHSU-COM) is relatively new to ranking organizations such as U.S. & World Report, making its presence in the report alongside medical schools across the nation an exciting step forward in expanding SHSU-COM’s reach.
