Bearkat Nation to Celebrate Public Launch of New Bearkat BBQ Sauce

Bearkat Nation is invited to celebrate the public launch of the new Bearkat BBQ Sauce, created in partnership with The Jank Gourmet BBQ Sauce, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at H-E-B Huntsville, located at 1702 11th St., Huntsville, Texas 77340. 

The launch event will bring together fans, families, and the Huntsville community for a day celebrating great food, Bearkat pride, and the introduction of a new product created through a partnership that combines tradition, flavor, and community spirit. 

Guests attending the event will enjoy live cooking demonstrations beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing throughout the day, showcasing the versatility and flavor of Bearkat BBQ Sauce. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the new sauce firsthand while watching recipes and BBQ creations come to life. 

Adding to the excitement, Bearkat Student-Athletes will make special appearances throughout the event in 30-minute increments, giving fans the opportunity to meet student-athletes, take photos, and celebrate the spirit of Bearkat Nation. 

The celebration will conclude with a special appearance from Sammy Bearkat and SHSU Cheer from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., providing a memorable finale for fans and families attending the launch.

The Bearkat BBQ Sauce launch highlights the continued connection between Bearkat Athletics, its fans, and the community through innovative partnerships and shared experiences. Guests are encouraged to attend this special event and be among the first to taste the newest addition to Bearkat Nation.
