GCJD will get an opportunity to share its experiences with other Universities interested in advancing democratic values throughout the globe.
Executive Director Kelli Arena will make a presentation about the work the center is doing with journalists, political parties and civil society groups.
SHSU senior Miranda Landsman will join Arena at the conference to be held in Sarajevo where she will be covering the event for social media outlets and writing longer reports for publication on the center's website.
Landsman, a Mass Communication Honors College student, just completed an internship working with SHSU distinguished alumnus Dan Rather in New York City.
