Biography

Heather Caudle is a results-driven professional with experience championing student success and building strategic programs. Since 2019, she has served Sam Houston State University in various roles. In her current role as Program Manager of the Smith-Hutson Endowed Chair of Banking, Caudle oversees student placement in banking internships and full-time positions, monitors financial tracking across multiple endowments and scholarships, and coordinates relationships between banking executives, academic departments, and the university community. She coordinates signature events including the Bank Industry Career Fair, and prestigious Texas Bankers Hall of Fame Gala.

Throughout her seven years at SHSU, she has achieved remarkable results including a 390% increase in coaching appointments as Assistant Director of Student Success and Coaching at the Academic Success Center, and a record-breaking 5% graduate enrollment increase as The Graduate School’s Graduate Recruiter. Caudle holds an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and B.A in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. Heather’s most notable achievement is the 2024 Staff Excellence Award. Her work exemplifies the integration of strategic relationship-building, data-driven program development, and commitment to student achievement across the institution.
