Callout

The Callout component provides a site visitor with context for a link they may want to select. It includes an image, a small amount of descriptive text, and up to 3 CTAs.

The background color can be white, jade, sand, or sky, and the image can be aligned to either the left or the right of the text on full-width pages; on 2-column pages and all mobile layouts, the image will appear above the text.

  • Headline: Maximum of 35 characters
  • Description: Maximum of 200 characters
  • CTA Link Text: Maximum of 20 characters, up to 3 links allowed

  • Description: Unformatted text, allows line breaks
  • CTA Link Text: Unformatted text

All pages except for listing pages like the Majors & Programs page.

Use Cases

Use this component to help site visitors navigate to another page for additional information on a topic while adding visual interest to the page. It can also be used to highlight an important topic and featured image without including a link to another page.
