SHC - Appointment Scheduling
About Your Visit
To schedule an appointment with the Student Health Center, students may self-schedule online through their patient portal, call us at 936-294-1805, or they may walk-in and schedule an appointment with our front desk staff.
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to check in and complete any additional information
- Allow at least one hour of time for your appointment from check-in until completion
- Failure to cancel your appointment at least 1 hour before your scheduled appointment time OR simply not showing up for your appointment will cause you to incur a $25 no-show fee on your MySam account
- If you arrive 5 minutes or more past your scheduled appointment time the front desk may have to reschedule you
Eligibility
You are eligible to schedule appointments at the SHC for any semester that you are a registered student and have paid the SHC medical services fee for that semester. You are not required to have health insurance to be seen in our clinic.
If you are under the age of 18 you will have to have parental consent to be treated and your parent/guardian can complete that consent online by completing the Treatment of a Minor Form.
