Initiating a sense of pride and spirit at SHSU, Bearkat Spirit Friday is a weekly program held every Friday in the fall and spring semesters. It's purpose is to encourage students, faculty and staff at SHSU to wear Bearkat apparel (focusing on the school colors, orange and white) every Friday in support of SHSU. Student Activities also distributes various items on some Fridays to students who are wearing orange and white as an incentive to support the program and university.
