Our Mission:

The mission of this website is to help students at Sam Houston State University get connected to the wide range of resources available on campus, around the community, and in Texas that can potentially help them with their needs so they can successfully complete their journey at Sam Houston.

Albert Schweitzer once said, "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." And Dan Rather said, “Service is a virtue.”  The Student Money Management Center hosted the Friends Help Friends Community Resource Fair based on these concepts.  If you or a friend are in need, please utilize these resources to support you in a time of need.

"Sometimes in life, you can fall down holes you can't climb out of by yourself. That's what friends and family are for - to help. They can't help, however, unless you let them know you're down there." - Meg Cabot
