With core values of community and academics as its foundations, the students of Vick House are placed in a community designed to help them achieve academically at SHSU. Facing the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and only a few steps away from Randel and Spivey Houses, Academic Building 4, Lee Drain Building, Bernard Johnson Coliseum, White Hall, Rec Sports and South Paw, residents are within minutes from everything on campus.

Upon entering, residents are welcomed into a large lobby for entertaining. The rooms are traditional style with moveable furniture. Central air conditioning and heat are installed to create a preferred climate throughout the building.
