Zoom: Participant Management

Occasionally, a participant may interrupt the progress of your meeting.  There are three options available to you. You can mute them, remove them, or stop their video.

  • Mute a Participant

    From your Zoom meeting click on Participants. 

    Select Participants

    From the participant list, hover over the participant's name and select Mute.

  • Stop a Participant's Video

    From your Zoom meeting click on Participants.

    Select Participants

    From the participant list, hover over the participant's name and select More.

    Click Stop Video.

  • Remove a Participant

    From your Zoom meeting click on Participants.

    Select Participants

    From the participant list, hover over the participant's name and select More.

    Click Remove.
