To assist you with quickly mastering the features and efficiency of Banner, all SHSU employees have access to the Ellucian On-Demand Subscription Library training. This access also includes a Customer Center that provides many Ellucian resources, such as Community Forums and the Support Center.
An Ellucian Customer Center account is required to access the training. If you do NOT have a Customer Center account, please sign up using the instructions below. Your access to the On-Demand Training will available within 1-2 business days after you have activated your new account.
To get you started, we have put together a list of courses for you. We recommend each department modify this list to meet their specific needs. A full list of courses is available on the Ellucian website.
Creating an Ellucian Customer Center Account
To create your Ellucian Customer Center account, please sign up using the registration link using your SHSU email address and select Submit.
Complete all of the registration details and select Submit Registration.
Your registration request has been submitted. You will receive a confirmation email to verify the account. Once the account is confirmed, you can access the On-Demand Trainings.
How to Access Ellucian On-Demand Training
Once your Ellucian Customer Center account is verified, you can access Ellucian’s On-Demand Training, following these steps.
Go to https://ellucian.okta.com. Enter your Ellucian username and password the select Sign In.
Once signed in, select Resources.
Select On-Demand Training from the Knowledge area.
Select On-Demand Training to find a training topic.
Banner Overview and Navigation (35 min.) - In this course, you learn how to navigate in Banner 9.
Navigating Employee Profile (7 min.) - This course contains an overview of the features available in the Employee Profile.
Building a Population Selection (45 min.) - This course contains a series of lessons on building population selections.
Banner Finance Overview (18 min.) - This course provides an overview of Banner Finance.
