AirMedia

AirMedia allows classroom instructors to connect to not only laptops, but also smart devices such as tablets and mobile phones wirelessly. 

You can view the instructions on how to connect your device to AirMedia below. Select the device you want to connect and follow these instructions.

  • Android

    To connect an Android device to AirMedia:

    1. Open the browser on the device and enter the IP address listed in the classroom in the browser.
    2. If you have the AirMedia app, it will open automatically. If it does not launch or you do not have it, select the Android button in the browser.

    If you do not have the AirMedia app, you will need to install it from the App Store.

    2.Android App

    Once the app is installed, open the App and

    1. Enter the IP address listed in the classroom in the URL location of the app
    2. Select Present with AirMedia.

    On the next screen,

    1. Enter the PIN for the AirMedia which will be displayed on the screen.
    2. Select OK.

    The device screen will now be displayed on the projector screen.

  • iPhone

    To connect an iPhone to AirMedia:

    1. Open the browser on the device and enter the IP address listed in the classroom in the browser.
    2. Select Start Presenting.

    If you have the AirMedia app, it will open automatically. If it does not launch or you do not have it, select the iOS button in the browser.

    2.iPhone Open App Store

    If you do not have the AirMedia app, you will need to install it from the App Store.

    3.iPhone Download App

    Once the app is installed, open the App and select Agree to acknowledge and agree to the Terms of Use. (First time using app only)

    5.iPhone Accept Terms

    On the Session delegation options

    1. Select Deny, so that others cannot start presenting during your presentation.
    2. Select OK.

    6.iPhone Deny Delegate Session

    On the following screen, enter the IP address listed in the classroom

    7.iPhone Enter IP

    On the next screen,

    1. Enter the PIN for the AirMedia which will be displayed on the projector screen.
    2. Select OK.

    If the device does not begin projecting, screen mirroring may need to be enabled. To do that, open the device Control Center by dragging from the upper right corner of the screen to the lower left of the screen. Select the screen mirroring icon.

    On the screen mirroring options, select the option listed with the IP address entered earlier in the app.

    The device will connect to AirMedia.

    11.iPhone Connecting

    On the next screen,

    1. Enter the PIN for the AirMedia which will be displayed on the projector screen.
    2. Select OK.

    The device screen will now be displayed on the projector screen.

  • Managed Windows Device

    To connect a managed windows device to AirMedia:

    If you do not have the AirMedia app, you will need to install it from the Software Center.

    Once the app is installed, open the App.

    1. Enter the IP address listed in the classroom
    2. Select Connect.

    3.Managed Windows Enter IP

    On the next screen,

    1. Enter the PIN for the AirMedia which will be displayed on the control panel.
    2. Select OK.

    4.Managed Windows Enter PIN

    The device screen will now be displayed on the projector screen.

    Using the app, you can:

    1. Stop presenting from the Windows device if you are done.
    2. Pause presenting to briefly stop displaying from the device.
