IT@Sam manages devices through every stage — from shopping for the right product to disposal. Our services include aquisition, installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and retirement. We primarily work with following standard devices:

Though some positions don’t require laptops for daily use, there are definitely times they come in handy. Situations like assisting with budget, taking meeting minutes, working on major projects or attending important conferences are just a few. If you find yourself needing a laptop, you can request one from the IT@Sam Service Desk!
Acquisition. Includes assessing, purchasing, and inventorying new devices to ensure capability with existing technology and adherence to compliance.
Installation. Includes delivering and setting up devices in location of use. Installation of large non-standard equipment may be contracted to a vendor.
Configuration. Includes selecting programmable options to perform specific tasks such as research.
Maintenance. Includes performing updates to keep devices secure and running smoothly.
Troubleshooting. Includes identifying and resolving issues with devices.
Retiring. Includes removing all data from devices and sending to the Property Office for disposal or auction.
