As a sub-unit of the Department of Environmental Health, Safety & Risk Management within the division of Finance and Operations, we are committed to supporting the University's mission in a rapidly expanding and complex regulatory environment and to promote a working environment which reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity and standards in the conduct of all operations.
The Institutional Compliance Office was established to help coordinate the University's numerous existing compliance efforts and provide senior leadership with a comprehensive overview of organizational compliance activities. The Institutional Compliance Office does not assume the duties of the various departments with respect to compliance, and all ongoing compliance activities continue in their existing areas of responsibility. Rather, the Office helps to coordinate these efforts, assess overall achievement, raise awareness and promote the sharing of best practices and increased internal communication.
