Evolve, a student support program within Academic Affairs, is dedicated to empowering all incoming transfer students at Sam Houston State University to thrive in their undergraduate journey. Our mission is simple: to support transfer students in evolving as scholars and professionals.

We achieve this through four key components:

Intentional Relationships: We facilitate personalized introductions, mentorship programs, and community-building events tailored to transfer students.

Service Engagement: We support active participation in campus activities and service projects to promote personal growth and leadership.

University Experiences: We provide tailored university experiences, facilitating exploration, involvement in campus traditions, and engagement in extracurricular activities.

Academic Enrichment: We offer academic support services, workshops, and resources to enhance the educational journey of transfer students.
