Banner Finance 101
Description: This course provides an overview of accounting concepts with a focus on accounting specific to SHSU (FOAPAL elements, forms, etc.). The course teaches understanding and use of common and important finance forms in Banner, as well as methods to query information (i.e. Banner XE and Cognos). Additionally, the course teaches the proper use and preparation of Interdepartmental Transfer and Transaction Correction forms.

Description: This course provides an overview of the approval process as well as step-by-step instructions to review and approve documents within Banner XE, Banner Self-Service, Bearkat Buy, and Chrome River systems. This training is required for director level and above, and back-up personnel.
