Mr. Krafcik was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. In 2002 he graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. Three years later, in 2005 Mr. Krafcik earned his Masters of Education in Counseling and Human Development. He has been in education ever since.

Mr. Krafcik has spent time in higher education, working at Our Lady of the Lake University as a freshman/transfer student advisor and teaching a student success course. Additionally, he worked for Saudi Arabian Basic Industry Corporation (SABIC) and The Canadian Bureau of International of Education (CBIE) for 10 years, managing their scholarship programs.

His first foray into K-12 teaching came in 2015 when he taught 4th grade English Language Arts at Ponderosa Elementary. Mr. Krafcik stayed at Ponderosa for 3 years before moving to The Covenant Preparatory School in Kingwood. At Covenant, he taught 2nd grade self-contained, created a soccer program and coached the middle and high school soccer teams, and served as a college advisor to the Class of 2023.

Mr. Krafcik has been married for 12 years and has one daughter, Zoey. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his family,  getting lost in the mountains, supporting Manchester United, and playing video games.
