Student Worker
My name is Alexis Villarreal, but I am normally called Lexi. I have been working at the Sam Houston Charter School as a Student Assistant for a year now. I've studied at SHSU since Fall '18, and plan on graduating a semester early in Fall '21. I am double majoring in Finance and Banking and minoring in Economics.
I am very involved around school in many organizations. I am in Alpha Omicron Pi, Honors College Student Advisory Council Treasurer for Active Minds, and Study Mentor for Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity.
Before working here I worked back home as a server since March 2017, I am always able to return during Christmas/Summer breaks! In high school I also worked at the Counselor Office also as a Student Assistant, doing about the same things I'm doing here.
During Summer '20, I plan on studying abroad in China. With this I want to gain knowledge of other cultures while receiving an education. After college I plan on attending Texas A&M-San Antonio to follow my mom's footsteps and pursue my Masters in Business Administration. I plan on having a full-time job to begin saving money to move out of my mom's house.
