Coursework

Students in the Doctoral program must complete 108 credits before graduation. This coursework includes classes related to discipline-specific knowledge, profession-wide competencies and forensic psychology as well as thesis, dissertation, practicum, and internship credits. Please see the SHSU Graduate Catalog for descriptions of the courses listed below.

For students who enroll with previous graduate coursework, we are willing to waive a limited number of classes. Our policy related to this is available in our Program Handbook.
