Dr. Rhonda L. Callaway (Ph.D., U. of North Texas)
Associate Professor

Dr. Callaway 's primary area of research is in the field human rights. She studies the relationship between globalization and human rights conditions as well as the role human rights conditions play in fomenting terrorist activity. Her additional research interests include the motivations and consequences of American foreign policy as well as the pursuit of human security in a globalized international system. She has co-authored and published several journal articles on human rights, a book on the effect of U.S. foreign aid on human rights, and is also an editor and contributor of Exploring International Human Rights: Essential Readings.
