Shelby Belt

Shelby Belt is the Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator for the College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2019 with her Bachelors of Science degree in Public Health. Before joining SHSU-COM, she worked as a student assistant in the Office of Accepted Students and Bearkat Orientation. Shelby is excited to be a part of the college and even more so helping recruit medical students.

Shelby decided to work with SHSU-COM because of SHSU’s motto, "The Measure of a Life is its Service." What better way to give back to the community by being a part of the admissions and recruiting process? Helping medical students with the enrollment of the College of Osteopathic Medicine helps her fulfill this motto.
