Kyre Cooper

Kyre Cooper is the Credentialing Specialist in the Department of Clinical Affairs at the SHSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from Boulder High School then attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico on an academic scholarship. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude with double majors of Psychology and Sociology. While at ENMU was active in PSI CHI, National Psychological Honor Society. Also served as Secretary and President of the Student Criminal Justice Association. After graduating from ENMU, she was employed as a Foster Care Worker, Program Counselor at a non-profit Crisis Center, and a Housing Coordinator for a county Mental Health Organization.

She continued her education earning a Master of Science in Accounting. Ms. Cooper has nearly two decades of experience in medical education covering multiple areas of responsibility. These include being the administrator for several CME programs for physicians, assisting with the administration of faculty appointments and promotions, assistance with the re-accrediting of the Pediatric Fellowship programs, departmental property custodian, and being the administrative professional assigned to an IRB approved research protocol.
