The Specialist Degree in School Psychology prepares students to deliver effective psychological services in schools. Graduates are eligible for licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in Texas and may obtain the Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential from NASP.

This program requires a minimum of 60 graduate credit hours, typically completed full-time over two years, followed by a full-time internship (6 credit hours). Students also gain over 300 hours of practicum experience. Graduates are eligible for licensure upon completion, and the program has a 100% internship employment rate, with most students securing paid positions.
