Get a start on two degrees

SHSU’s Physics Pre-Engineering program prepares students to transfer and complete a Mechanical Engineering degree. After building a strong foundation in physics, calculus, and core sciences at SHSU, students transfer to an accredited engineering school, such as UT Tyler, through established partnerships. This pathway also offers a 3+2 option to earn dual bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Engineering.
