The Physics Pre-Engineering program in Electrical Engineering prepares students to transfer and complete their engineering degree. Students spend three years at SHSU building a solid foundation in physics, calculus, and the sciences before transferring to an accredited engineering program, such as UT Tyler. Through established partnerships, this path offers a seamless transition. A 3+2 option allows students to earn both a BS in Physics and a BS in Electrical Engineering, broadening career opportunities in engineering, research, and technology.
