SHSU’s Physics Pre-Engineering program in Civil Engineering prepares students to transfer and complete a Civil Engineering degree. After three years at SHSU focused on core curriculum, calculus, and physics, students transfer to an accredited engineering program, such as UT Tyler, through established partnerships. The program offers a seamless path to engineering careers and a 3+2 option allowing students to earn both a BS in Physics and a BS in Civil Engineering.
