Two Degree Options for Flexibility
Choose between the M.Ed. with Reading Specialist Certification (for Texas-certified teachers completing fieldwork in TEA-approved locations) or the M.Ed. without certification (ideal for educators outside Texas, private schools, or private practice).
Embedded Dyslexia Certification
The SHSU Dyslexia Certificate is built into the program, offering additional specialization to support students with reading differences.
