Add depth to your degree and build a stronger understanding of how the human body moves with a Minor in Kinesiology at Sam Houston State University. You’ll explore the science behind movement, exercise, physical conditioning and motor skill development while learning how the body responds and adapts to physical activity.
Through coursework in functional kinesiology, motor learning and exercise physiology, you’ll develop knowledge you can apply across a range of interests and career paths—from fitness and coaching to education, rehabilitation and human performance. You’ll study the neurological and mechanical aspects of movement, examine how motor skills are learned or relearned, and gain a deeper understanding of the physiological demands of exercise.
