Let’s See You Succeed in Forensic Science

The Master of Science in Forensic Science is accredited by the Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission (FEPAC) and offers a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum. As the first of its kind in Texas, it allows students to tailor their degree to individual interests. Topics include forensic biology, forensic toxicology, controlled substances, trace evidence and microscopy, instrumental analysis, crime scene investigation, pattern evidence, law, ethics and quality assurance, and advanced electives.

Students may complete an internship in a forensic laboratory, must complete an independent research project, and are expected to develop strong oral and written communication skills for laboratory and courtroom success.
