The Minor in Forensic Science provides students with an opportunity to examine how scientific principles are used in real-world criminal investigations. Through interdisciplinary coursework, students gain insight into the methods and technologies used in contemporary forensic practice.

Coursework integrates foundational theory with practical application, allowing students to develop scientific understanding alongside investigative and analytical skills. Students are introduced to a range of forensic science disciplines, with emphasis on the scientific basis of evidence analysis, proper documentation and case management, and the role of emerging technologies in forensic investigations.
