Become a CHSS Ambassador
The CHSS Ambassador Program (CAP) is an opportunity for outstanding students to represent CHSS at various departmental, college, and university events. The students will have an opportunity to network with leaders across campus and in the community as well as develop leadership skills.
Eligibility, Standards, and Requirements
Membership in SHSU-CHSS Student Ambassadors shall be open to any currently enrolled student who has successfully completed at least one long (Fall or Spring) semester at Sam Houston State University. Additionally, Ambassadors must:
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the university
- Be available to attend a minimum of two events during each long semester
- Maintain a 3.0 overall gpa
Students interested in participating should fill out the form and either electronically submit their application to email@example.com or in-person to the CHSS Dean's Office in CHSS, Suite 290.
FALL applications will be accepted through September 15 and SPRING applications will be accepted through February 15. Interviews will take place two weeks after the application deadline.
