Bio

Terri Peerenboom is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Board Certified in Psychiatric/Mental Health. She has 30 years of experience in nursing with approximately 18 of those years dedicated to nursing education primarily at the Associate Degree level. She has held faculty roles in several institutions of higher education including Panola College, Carthage, TX; South Plains College, Levelland, TX; Casper College, Casper, WY; Cisco College, Abilene, TX; and Kilgore College, Kilgore, TX. She currently serves as the Nursing Resource Coach for the School of Nursing at Sam Houston State University at The Woodlands campus. Prior to this position, Terri worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, caring for adults with mental health needs. She is married with one daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, golfing and going to the lake. Terri is a member of the American Nursing Association and Texas Nurse Practitioner Association.
