The Department of Engineering Technology is in the process of applying for ATMAE accreditation for the Engineering Technology, BS and two concentrations under this degree. The concentrations are Engineering Technology-Environmental, Health, and Safety Management, BS and Engineering Technology-Electronics, BS. Engineering Design Technology is also applying for ATMAE accreditation.
ABET -Construction Management

The Sam Houston State University Construction Management program is accredited by the ABET Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission.
