Kristie Bradford

Professor of Geology at Lone Star College–Tomball. Kristie Bradford holds an MS in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and specializes in geoscience education, sedimentology, and sedimentary petrology. She teaches physical geology with an emphasis on modern processes that impact her students’ lives. Much of her work inside and outside the classroom focuses on broadening participation in and expanding access to geoscience education through active learning, service learning, and mentoring. She has presented at the Geological Society of America (GSA) annual conferences and actively supports programs that encourage students to pursue STEM careers.
