Apply Now – Gulf Scholars Program

The Gulf Scholars Program (GSP) is an interdisciplinary initiative designed to prepare the next generation of civic-minded leaders who are ready to tackle pressing environmental, social, and economic challenges facing the Gulf Region.

Through mentorship, hands-on experiences, and impact-driven projects, students engage deeply with the Gulf’s unique communities and ecosystems while developing career-ready skills.

Sam Houston State University (SHSU) and Lone Star College (LSC) are proud partners in the GSP, offering students from both institutions the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and lead through this regional initiative.
