individual therapy
Individual therapy consists of one-on-one sessions with a student clinician for approximately 50 minutes. It involves regular meetings - typically weekly - at a time scheduled at your and your student clinician's convenience.
Treatment for concerns including, but not limited to:
- Anxiety
- Depression and other mood concerns
- Behavior problems
- Grief counseling
- Adjustment disorders
- Anger management
- Major mental illness
- Phase of life concerns
- Substance use concerns
couples counseling
Couples therapy consists of regular meetings with a student clinician involving both members of the couple. Most of these sessions occur with both members of the couple present, but sometimes may involve one-on-one work with the student clinician. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length and occur on a regular - most often weekly - basis at a time scheduled at your and your student clinician's convenience.
Treatment for concerns including, but not limited to:
- Changes in family dynamics
- Communication skills
- Relational improvement
Family counseling
Family therapy consists of regular meetings with a student clinician involving multiple family members. Depending on the issues being addressed, multiple family members will be involved in the session. Some sessions will involve all family members, some may involve specific members (parents, a parent, and a child/adolescent), and some may involve individual people. Sessions typically last from 50 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes.

- Relational improvement

Assessments for concerns including, but not limited to:
- Diagnostic clarification
- Depression and bipolar disorders
- Anxiety
- ADHD
- Substance-related concerns
- Serious mental illness
- Learning disabilities
- Cognitive functioning
- Treatment recommendations
local organizations
Services including, but not limited to:
- Individual or group therapy programs tailored to the agency's needs
- Diagnostic evaluations
- Treatment recommendations
- Psychoeducational classes and trainings
- Group treatment classes
forensic evaluations
Evaluations for psycholegal questions including, but not limited to:
- Competency to stand trial
- Competency for execution
- Sanity evaluations
- Risk assessments
- Juvenile fitness to proceed
- Juvenile responsibility for criminal conduct
- Transfer to adult court
- Civil competencies
We provide forensic evaluations in numerous counties in the surrounding areas. Evaluations are conducted at both the PSC and correctional facilities.
